By accessing and using MazadO₂ ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated by MazadO₂ and is available to users in the United Arab Emirates. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to use the service.

MazadO₂ is a marketplace for buying, selling, and donating used goods in the UAE. The Platform facilitates connections between users and calculates the environmental impact (CO₂ saved) of transactions.

MazadO₂ does NOT: • Handle payments or financial transactions between users • Take possession of listed items • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items • Act as a party to transactions between users

Users are solely responsible for their transactions and interactions with other users.

To list items or contact sellers, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You may not: • Create accounts with false information • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity • Share or transfer your account to others • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

When listing an item, you agree to: • Provide accurate descriptions and photos • Set fair and honest pricing • Only list items you legally own and can sell • Disclose all defects, damage, or issues • Honor the listing and not sell to others if committed

Prohibited items include: • Illegal goods or substances • Counterfeit or pirated items • Weapons, ammunition, or explosives • Hazardous materials • Items infringing intellectual property rights • Live animals • Prescription medications

MazadO₂ reserves the right to remove any listing at any time without notice.

When purchasing an item, you agree to: • Communicate honestly with sellers • Inspect items before completing purchase • Complete transactions as agreed • Meet in safe, public locations • Report suspicious or fraudulent activity

Buyers are responsible for: • Verifying item condition and authenticity • Arranging pickup or delivery • Ensuring payment method security • Compliance with all applicable laws

MazadO₂ does NOT process payments. All payment arrangements are made directly between buyers and sellers.

We recommend: • Meeting in public places for transactions • Using secure, traceable payment methods • Never sending money before inspecting items • Getting receipts for high-value transactions

MazadO₂ is NOT responsible for: • Payment disputes between users • Fraudulent transactions • Failed deliveries or pickups • Item quality or authenticity issues

IMPORTANT: By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

ALL carbon credits generated from transactions on MazadO₂ are owned exclusively by MazadO₂. When you complete a transaction (buy, sell, trade, or donate), the CO₂ emissions avoided are calculated and aggregated by the Platform. These savings are converted into carbon credits (1,000 kg CO₂ = 1 credit).

MazadO₂ sells these credits to companies and organizations to fund platform operations, keeping the service free for all users.

Users receive: • Free platform access (no fees) • CO₂ impact tracking • Badges and recognition • Community benefits

Users do NOT receive: • Monetary compensation from carbon credits • Ownership rights to generated credits • Revenue sharing from credit sales

This model is what allows MazadO₂ to operate without charging users any fees.

Our AI-powered verification system analyzes images to: • Identify item categories • Assess item condition • Suggest price ranges • Calculate CO₂ savings

The AI system provides estimates with confidence scores (typically 85-95% accuracy). Users can edit AI suggestions before posting.

MazadO₂ does not guarantee: • 100% accuracy of AI assessments • Verification of item authenticity • Detection of all defects or issues • Price accuracy or fairness

Users remain responsible for accurate listing information regardless of AI suggestions.

You agree NOT to: • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users • Use the Platform for illegal activities • Spam or send unsolicited messages • Scrape or collect user data • Manipulate CO₂ calculations or badge systems • Interfere with Platform operations • Bypass security measures

Violations may result in: • Listing removal • Account suspension or termination • Legal action if warranted • Reporting to authorities

MazadO₂ and all Platform content (design, code, logos, text) are owned by MazadO₂ and protected by intellectual property laws.

Users grant MazadO₂ a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute their listing photos and content on the Platform.

Users retain ownership of their original content but must not: • Use MazadO₂ branding outside the Platform • Copy or reproduce Platform code or design • Create derivative works without permission

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

MazadO₂ disclaims all warranties including: • Fitness for a particular purpose • Accuracy of listings or AI assessments • Uninterrupted or error-free service • Security of communications • User conduct or transaction outcomes

Use the Platform at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

MazadO₂ is NOT liable for: • Disputes between users • Quality, safety, or legality of items • Fraud or misrepresentation by users • Financial losses from transactions • Damage or injury from item use • Data loss or security breaches • Platform downtime or errors

Maximum liability (if any) is limited to AED 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MazadO₂, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: • Your use of the Platform • Your listings or transactions • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any laws • Your infringement of third-party rights

MazadO₂ may suspend or terminate your account at any time for: • Violation of these Terms • Fraudulent or illegal activity • Abuse or harassment of users • Extended inactivity • Any reason at our discretion

Upon termination: • Your access is revoked immediately • Your listings are removed • Your data may be deleted • CO₂ credits remain with MazadO₂

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

By using the Platform, you consent to the jurisdiction of UAE courts.

MazadO₂ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated "Last Modified" date.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Platform.
